ANGIE GRAY is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Tennessee, a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, and Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist. She began her massage career in 2010 after graduating from the National Holistic Institute (NHI) in Studio City, California, completing her certification as an Advanced Neuromuscular Therapist and Health Educator.
Angie is certified in NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT). With this technique, she assesses and treats Breathing Patterns, Subsystems, Compression/Decompression, and Rotational Patterns. Angie has been certified as a Posture Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She has also been certified as a Human Movement Specialist through the Brookbush Institute of Human Movement Science and Movement Specialist through RockTape. Angie provides these important components in her specialized sessions to relieve pain and restore balance to the body.
Angie has training in RockTape kinesio taping techniques, which she uses to enhance her hands-on work. She is certified in ACE Medicupping TM Therapy. Angie has taken courses with Precision Neuromuscular Therapy - specific to Neck and Head, Shoulder, Arm and Hand. She has taken additional classes for specific work related to TMJD. Additionally, she has taken classes for Ergonomics specific to work stations.
Angie has certified in Integrated Kinetic Neurology (IKN) in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Technique.
Angie works with all populations. She completed her certification for Massage for People Living with Cancer under Gayle MacDonald and Oncology Massage Therapy with Tracy Walton. She has been certified as a Cancer Exercise Specialist through the Cancer Exercise Training Institute. She studied under Tina Allen with the Liddle Kidz Foundation, becoming a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist and Certified Infant Massage Teacher.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She stays current with her National Board Certification under the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
